Summer - May to September

The temperatures during summer are pleasant during the day making it ideal for outdoor activities and sightseeing. Most of the roads to Leh Ladakh, including the high mountain passes, are open and accessible during this time.

Autumn - September to October

These are also good months to visit Leh Ladakh, as the weather remains pleasant, and the landscapes start to change colours with the onset of autumn.

Tip:

Due to the high altitude, it's crucial to acclimatise properly and take precautions to avoid altitude sickness, regardless of the time of year you visit.
