Best Time To travel

Spring - March to May

Spring is one of the most popular times to visit Bhutan. The weather is generally pleasant with blooming flowers and lush green landscapes. This is an ideal time for trekking, especially in April and May when rhododendrons are in full bloom.

Summer - June to August

While Bhutan experiences its monsoon season during these months, it's a good time to visit if you're interested in birdwatching and experiencing the vibrant local culture. The valleys are lush and vibrant, but be prepared for occasional rain.

Autumn - September to November

This is another highly recommended time to visit Bhutan. The skies are clear, the weather is mild, and the landscapes are painted with autumnal hues. Many of Bhutan's major festivals, such as the Thimphu Tshechu, take place during this time.

Winter - December to February

Winter is a great time to visit if you enjoy cooler temperatures and clear skies. The mountain views are spectacular, and you can even witness the black-necked cranes in the Phobjikha Valley. However, some higher-altitude trekking routes might be inaccessible due to snow.
